Bristol 2s v Cardiff 2s

A rainbow was shining over the pitch in the Welsh capitol when Bristol 2s arrived on the pitch, guns blazing. The whistle blows to signal the beginning of the match of the century by the referee, who claims to have 20/20 vision due to the absence of linesmen! Molly showcases her game IQ with a beautiful interception in midfield, leading the Cardiff players to shake in their boots. A cheeky Cardiff player role-plays being Leila, attempting to take a throw-in 10metres further down the line, but the Ref was having none of it. Cardiff got the sport confused with handball and Bristol gained a free kick from outside the box, but nothing came from it. Chloe was sprinting down the wing every 10 seconds, putting beautiful balls into the box. One ball flew into the box but was knocked out for a corner by the centre back. Bristol continued to challenge the goalie, booting shots left right and centre! As well as stunning attacks, the defence were like a fishing net- as Gaz says! Our captain Anna did a crazy ninja block, an aesthetic  sight with the rainbow rainbowing overhead. Eventually, Bristol got what they deserved, with a great goal by Chloe which came from a pacy run down the wing. 1:0. The first half whistle came shortly after which was needed as the team was panting! After a crazy hype talk from Gaz, the 2s were ready to go. About 15 mins after the whistle, Molly created a beautiful through ball to Llio 1 on 1 with the goalie and a superb finish! 2:0 to Bristol!! 15 mins later, Molly takes a gamble and bang- in from the inside post. 3:0 Bristol and very well-deserved! On an adrenaline rush from all the goals, Maya goes in with a beautiful slide tackle, Cardiff clearly can’t handle the heat. Annie was showing off her turns in centre-back, teasing the no9, cya later! Chloe was all over the pitch, wearing the Cardiff team down like an excitable puppy. Cardiff did have some great chances with some runs down the wing, but fortunately nothing came of it due to our indestructible defence. Full time whistle Bristol 3:0 Cardiff. Whoop!!!!
